tell us about your background as a stylist?
My hairstyling background is that I have been a licensed stylist since my 18th birthday. I went to work for 20 years in the same salon that I assisted 4 stylists at. I have been trained and specialize in color correction, bridal updos and styling. I am Dream Catchers certified and am a expert in individual, tape in and weft extensions. After over 25 years in this industry I still love what I do!
what drives you?
What drives me is my passion to create fresh and creative looks for clients and connect with them during the process. For me it’s the whole experience that makes it!
what makes you smile?
What makes me smile is my son practicing his best jokes for me:)
favorite movie?
My favorite movie is Steel Magnolias. I know every line “You know what they say, if you don’t have somethin nice to say come sit next to me.”
hidden talent?
My hidden talent is that I can make the perfect playlist for any occasion.
what did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was a kid when I grew up I wanted to move to NY be a make up artist by day and a club kid at night.
favorite drink?
My favorite cocktail is a dirty vodka martini with 2 blue cheese stuffed olives.
what do you do on a sunday?
On a Sunday you can find me having breakfast out with my husband and son and then going on a bike ride down by the beach.
favorite quote?
My favorite saying is “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” things can never go that bad if you just strive for that.
what do you do on a rainy day?
On a rainy day I’m making a big pot of soup and watching movies in pjs all day.
what do you like to do for playtime?
For playtime I love to go camping and exploring on road trips with my family. I also love girl time with my friends. I belong to a “book club” and have a text chain with a bunch of friends that we call the board room haha!
what brought you to the house salon?
What brought me to The House Salon was it’s impeccable reputation for excellent work, it’s beautiful aesthetic and a love for being around fun stylish talented coworkers to be inspired by. I feel so lucky to be here!
